As Actu.fr reports, the national police carried out the operation with two DRIEAT officers, around the Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy TGV and RER stations. Four fixed criminal fines of 400 euros were issued for illegally operating as a taxi or failing to comply with ride-hailing regulations. Two drivers were also arrested, and one vehicle was impounded.

The checks come amid tensions between licensed taxi drivers and drivers who do not follow the rules. According to [Le Parisien](https://leparisien.fr/seine-et-marne-77/tensions-entre-taxis-et-vtc-a-chessy-nouvelle-operation-de-police-aux-abords-de-disneyland-et-de-la-gare-tgv-25-10-2026-PM3NR3NH3FB3HDUKMPON45RCXQ.php), operations take place twice a month in the area. Since 2025, around 180 operations have resulted in 250 fixed criminal fines and nearly 2,400 fines for minor offences.
