For an evening at Disneyland Paris, the choice depends on which park you visit: Disney Tales of Magic takes place at Disneyland Park, while Disney Cascade of Lights lights up Adventure Bay at Disney Adventure World. Both shows are scheduled for the same time, so it is impossible to see both on the same evening. If you are only spending one day there, it is best to choose your park based on the show that appeals to you most.
Tales of Magic: The Castle Takes Center Stage
At Disneyland Park, Disney Tales of Magic combines projections on Sleeping Beauty Castle and the facades of Main Street U.S.A. with fireworks. Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, Encanto, and Lilo & Stitch are among the stories featured. To enjoy the projection details, Disney recommends standing near the castle; farther away, you will get a wider view. Either way, arrive early to find a spot. As Ayther reports, the show has not featured drones since April 1, 2026.
Cascade of Lights: The Lake and the Drones
At Disney Adventure World, Disney Cascade of Lights takes place on Adventure Bay. For about 16 minutes, fireworks, water screens, and drones accompany Disney, Pixar, and Marvel characters, including Moana, Hercules, and Mulan. If you plan to see it, keep in mind that this show is also scheduled at the same time as Tales of Magic: there is no way to hurry from one park to the other and catch both in succession.
Both shows are included with admission to the relevant park and are scheduled every evening, weather permitting. Their times are published in the official app up to 30 days before your visit, so check it to plan your evening. For a first visit, Tales of Magic offers the iconic castle setting; Cascade of Lights makes the most of the lake’s scale and its water effects. The choice of how to end your day is yours!
