After violence broke out on the margins of last weekend’s demonstrations, some visitors are wondering whether they should change their plans for Disneyland Paris or Val d’Europe. According to information verified by DLPTime on Thursday, October 22, no confirmed fact justifies cancelling a visit on Saturday, October 24. The authorised march will take place in Paris, from Bastille to Nation, with departure scheduled for 2 p.m. A separate route towards Opéra is due to be banned.

Extra care is sensible if your journey crosses central Paris. At the resort itself, the more likely difficulty is a familiar one: a busy school-holiday Saturday during the Halloween season, with rain expected in the afternoon.

Disneyland Paris: no Saturday closure announced, but likely to be very busy

Disneyland Paris still lists the Disney Halloween Festival through November 1. None of the public information checked on Thursday afternoon announces a Saturday closure of the Disney Parks.

DLPTime currently estimates an average wait of around 38 minutes across both Parks. The expected crowd level is high, and very high at Disneyland Park. This is an overall estimate, not a guarantee for each attraction. Arriving before opening, tackling priority attractions first and saving shows or covered areas for the afternoon should make the day easier.

Val d’Europe: normal opening hours still displayed

The shopping centre continues to list Saturday opening from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. School holidays and its proximity to Disneyland Paris may still bring substantial crowds. The morning is the better option for a quieter visit.

An isolated rumour or social-media post does not establish that an incident is planned. If conditions change, follow instructions from the shopping centre, Disneyland Paris, transport operators and public authorities.

Travel from Paris is the main point to watch

The Paris march is due to travel from Bastille to Nation from 2 p.m. Exact station closures for Saturday had not been published when this article was prepared. If your route crosses Paris, check it again on Saturday morning in the Île-de-France Mobilités app, which provides live schedules and disruption notifications.

Travellers arriving from eastern Île-de-France or by car on the A4 should allow extra time. From central Paris, avoid tight connections around the Bastille–Nation area during the afternoon.

Afternoon rain and a breezier evening

Météo-France forecasts around 6°C in the morning near Melun, rising to 15°C, with light afternoon rain totalling about 5 mm. Winds are expected to strengthen around nightfall. A waterproof jacket and suitable shoes will be more practical than a large umbrella inside the Parks.

Should you cancel?

Not on the facts confirmed on Thursday. Disneyland Paris and Val d’Europe are outside the announced Paris march route. Their public pages still display the Halloween programme and the shopping centre’s usual opening hours, with no Saturday closure announced at the time of checking.

Conditions may still change before Saturday. Check official apps before leaving. If a local alert, closure or crowd movement occurs, leave the area when it is safe and follow staff and police instructions.

Information checked at 5 p.m. Paris time on Thursday, October 22, 2026. Opening hours, weather and transport measures may change.
